The Indian Village located in Stampede Park is always a hit among both kids and adults and this is a must visit on any Stampede trip. It won’t be hard to find as 26 tipis are set up in a park setting, in a circle format, each offering something different to experience. This is the perfect way to learn more about the first nations and both their culture and tradition. Visitors should expect to learn about different artefacts, traditional dance, jewellery making, and even meet the Indian Princess. There are five tribes that come together during Stampede and camp together with their families for the entire 10 days. Visitors are welcomed to enjoy their traditions and culture with them. Think ceremonies, stories and more. These tribes have been a part of Stampede since the very beginning and not only make up one of the most important parts of this celebration but one of the most interesting parts as well. From the youngest child to the oldest adult, everyone can find this experience absolutely wonderful and unforgettable.
