Visit Indiana Dunes

If you have access to a car and a need to get out of the city and into some nature, there’s no better place from Chicago than the Indiana Dunes. Situated by Lake Michigan, the Indiana Dunes are a 45-minute drive away and a great way to get some nature and relaxation. Catch some rays, some stars, and enjoy a beach day and just a dash of nature. A great place for a picnic, or just a little space. The beaches along the city are pretty full, so it can be good to get out far from the crowds. At night, the coast is desolate, and this far from the city, you’ll be able to see shooting stars. A wonderful place for a picnic, a swim, and a beautiful sunset.
