Vegetable shopping at Noosa farmers’ market

Much before the Noosa Australian Football Club on Weyba Road in Noosaville reverberates with the shouts of little ones kicking around a football, it plays host to the weekly farmers’ market. Rows of temporary stalls appear well ahead of 7 am and quickly fill up with all forms of fresh local produce that will make it a sheer pleasure to just wander around. Shiny, plump vegetables and colourful fruits vie for attention alongside delectable marinades and sauces, freshly squeezed juices, fresh honey, nuts and seeds, olives and tasty tapenades, herbs and fresh seafood, freshly baked bread and creamy cheeses. You might also find skincare products, beautifully woven baskets, handcarved wooden cutlery and kitchen implements. Tuck into sumptuous omelettes and pancakes and end with freshly brewed coffee.
