Noida to soon see an aviation hub on the lines of Changi Airport!

Travellers in Delhi-NCR, especially Noida, already have a reason to rejoice with the announcement of the Jewar Airport. The proposed airport facility in Noida is expected to be operational by 2023, and much awaited by the city dwellers and commuters. What is adding more to the excitement in the recent proposal for a new aviation hub at the Jewar Airport.

A project report on the proposed aviation hub has already been submitted, with names that include Singapore’s Changi Airport as a model! Changi has, of course, become more than just an airport facility, attracting travellers from all over the world with its many wonders. If the proposal goes through, Noida dwellers might have one such wonder closer home.

It has been reported that the said aviation hub will be sticking to clean and green energy, will have entertainment and leisure facilities, a golf course, and also access to the public transportation system. Other aviation hubs that were reviewed while designing the proposal for this facility, apart from Singapore’s Changi Airport, are the airports at Istanbul, Amsterdam and Korea.
The Jewar Airport in Noida is expected to be the largest airport in India in terms of surface area, and the addition of an aviation hub definitely adds to the lure of it. If reports are to be believed, real estate prices are already seeing a surge in the surrounding areas.
