Located on the Bangalore-Chennai highway at an hour’s drive from Chennai, the water park is spread across an area of 70 acres and happens to be one of the best places for kids to spend their summer holidays, and also a place where anyone can rejuvenate over the weekend. Started in the year 2003, the Queensland Water Park is one of the most popular water parks in Chennai. Located on the Bangalore-Chennai highway at an hour’s drive from Chennai, the water park is spread across an area of 70 acres and happens to be one of the best places for kids to spend their summer holidays, and also a place where anyone can rejuvenate over the weekend. The park is home to a wide range of rides that prove exciting not only for the kids but the adults as well. The park has a total of 51 rides, out of which 33 are for adults, and the remaining are for kids. Some of the most popular rides and activities in Queensland Water Park include Free Fall Tower (height of 300 feet), Roller coaster, Cable car, Simulation Theater, Octopus, Himalayan Water Ride, Bumper cars, Alpen Blitz, Centrix, Mirror House, Queens Land Fairy Train, Boating, and American Wave pool among many others.
