Head to Paris for a grand exhibit display from Tutankhamun's tomb

His tomb was discovered by Howard Carter, an English archaeologist in 1922, and made to the headlines. More than 5000 items were discovered in the tomb, including a gold coffin, a face mask, a chalice, wine, and even thrones. Most of the items were largely intact even after 3400 years of his death. The new exhibition at Paris’ Grande Halle de la Villette is also the first time that most of these exhibits would be taken out of Egypt. The exhibition aims to celebrate a century of the tomb’s discovery, and it might just cross the 50-year-old record of 1.24 million visitors. It would original artefacts from Tutankhamun’s tomb on display, starting March 23 and continuing till September 15, 2019.
