With Indians regularly travelling the globe and indulging in a variety of vacations - adventure, extreme sports, leisure, fitness, spiritual, travel operators and holiday planners come up with tons of schemes luring the Indian traveler to invest in these holidays. What is important is you are not duped, and that everything is under check when you travel with your family and an otherwise vacation does not get spolit. Check the below mentioned pointers:
Find out if there are no hidden costs involved.

If airport transfers are included, and if they are included from the railway station, and not just the airport.

If the package they offer at the hotel is exactly what you have understood and they don't have any hidden surprises when you land at the hotel asking you to shell out extra money. Sometimes this happens and you end up opting for an upgradation since there is no better hotel around in the area.
If the charges are refundable in case they fail to meet exactly your needs and they end up spoiling your holiday.

You will obviously find out the cancellation procedures, but if possible find a travel operator who you know and whether he is professional in his work.

Check with exactly what will be included in the trip. Many times people have spas and facials included in the trip but when you reach the hotel, the hotel is booked for 3 days with all the guests on different time slots with the spa treatments leaving you with no option to use what is included in your package.
When an extra person joins at the last minute, make sure that there is enough room for him or her and he does not have to sleep on the floor with you in your room on a holiday.
