Travelling around Mumbai cannot get easier than this; very soon, with a tourist ticket, you can travel unlimited anywhere in Mumbai by Harbour line, Western Railway, and Central Railways trains. This also means moving around in the city is set to become cost-effective too.

Western Railways recently shared this news in social media. Reportedly, one can buy a tourist ticket for first and second class, which will have validity from one to five days. The tickets will be valid till midnight and will be issued three days in advance. Visitors won’t get any refund or concession on unused or partially-used tickets.However, if you are willing to cancel the tourist tickets that have been booked in advance, you can do so before the day of validity starts. There is a catch here though—INR 30 for first class and INR 15 for the second class will be deducted as clerkage charges.
It is also worth mentioning that the Western Railways, in an attempt to ensure women’s safety in trains, has recently introduced the ‘Talk Back’ facility in first class and women’s compartment in 72 trains. Further, to make sure that this facility is not misused by travellers, this feature can also be used to record conversations, which can be used as evidence in case of any unforeseen incidents.
Details of ticket prices

• The cost of a second-class ticket with one-day validity will be INR 75.
• If you need a ticket that has three-day validity, you will have to shell out INR 115, whereas a five-day validity ticket will cost you INR 135.
• The cost of a first-class ticket with one-day validity will cost you INR 255. However, if you need a ticket that has three-day validity, you will need to pay INR 415; for a five-day validity ticket, you will have to pay INR 485.
