Western Railways recently shared this news in social media. Reportedly, one can buy a tourist ticket for first and second class, which will have validity from one to five days. The tickets will be valid till midnight and will be issued three days in advance. Visitors won’t get any refund or concession on unused or partially-used tickets.
It is also worth mentioning that the Western Railways, in an attempt to ensure women’s safety in trains, has recently introduced the ‘Talk Back’ facility in first class and women’s compartment in 72 trains. Further, to make sure that this facility is not misused by travellers, this feature can also be used to record conversations, which can be used as evidence in case of any unforeseen incidents.
