For some luxurious Arabian shopping experience in Dubai, Souk Al Bahar is the perfect destination. A modern take on traditional souks, this place is on the Old Town Island and known for a large number of shops selling fine carpets, antiques and other souvenirs. Shopping is not the only thing to do here, but people also come here to take in the stunning vistas of the grand Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountain. In addition, the Souk Al Bahar has a huge medley of restaurants and cafes and some of these also have alfresco dining facility. Come here on Friays and witness Dubai’s only farmer’s market. All regional and grown in the desert products are sold this time. All said and done, this place is worth all your time for its sheer beauty and rustic charm. Burj Khalifa Metro Station is the closest and from there the place is only a 10 min walk. So walk, explore and get ready to be charmed with this part of Dubai.
