Museum of Vietnamese Revolution

The Museum of Vietnamese Revolution contains over 40,000 historical exhibits relating to the Vietnamese Revolution. It was initially constructed in 1959 as a building for the Trade Department of Vietnam and was officially established as a museum in 2008.
The Museum of Vietnamese Revolution will give you a great insight to the revolution of Vietnam, from Vietnam’s liberation from the French, to the Communist period and all the way to the establishment of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

You’ll get to explore two floors of this building, the first floor showcases exhibits dedicated to gifts from Ho Chi Minh, as well as exhibits dedicated to the process of establishing Vietnam as an independent country. Upon entering the second floor, you’ll find exhibits dating back to the mid 19th century, when Vietnam was initially fighting for its independence from France. You’ll see flags, original shackles used on prisoners during the fight against French colonial rule and many other materials originally used during Vietnam’s fight for independence.
