If perchance you come upon the Pune skyline dotted with a flying Batman, a soaring Shivaji and even some funny looking clowns, you’re probably looking at the Summer Festival celebrations arranged by Temple Pilots. Started about 14 years ago, this paragliding school offers activities ranging from beginners courses to flying workshops and alternatively gives you the option of a single flight. The school's chief instructor is an ex-Air Force fighter pilot, so safety is definitely not an issue.
