Interspersed between the mime artistes, musicians, artists and all the people displaying their talent around Jackson Square, there’s a set of mysterious and deeply inscrutable people, the tarot card and palm readers. To add to the general quirky aura around them, some of them are dressed outlandishly. Almost all of them have funky and edgy paraphernalia displayed on brightly decorated tables and sit languidly in front of brilliantly-coloured stands. If you are the kind that is not easily freaked out or think of tarot card and palm reading as fun, give it a go. You’ll be surprised how much fun it can be.
