Tarkarli

With its white sands and blue waters, the Tarkali beach is a great place to unwind and sample spicy Malvani cuisine, which makes ample use of locally-available, fresh seafood. Located on the Konkan coast, a few hours away from Mumbai, Tarklali's star attraction is the long, narrow and pristine beach. The 17th-century Singhudurg Fort, one of the several sea forts in Maharashtra, can be reached by ferry.
