Some of the notable landmarks worth stopping at and spending some time at are Onofrio’s big fountain, Franciscan monastery and museum, Roland’s column, and Dominican Monastery. If you get tired of walking around, enjoy a meal or coffee at one of the many restaurants and cafés. Since it’s a popular place among tourists and a prominent business street for locals, expect crowds at all times during the day except later at night or really early in the morning, just after sunrise. If there has to be one experience that would define a visit to Dubrovnik, it would have to be a leisurely walk along Stradun.
