The Nobel Museum was opened with the aim to preserve memories of the Nobel laureates till date and highlight their achievements. It’s a way to spread knowledge among the younger generation and to create their interest around natural science through creative techniques and modern technology. It is a museum where you can learn everything about the prestigious Nobel Prize including the life of its founder, Alfred Nobel. The museum also offers fully guided tours. Get to learn about the successes and failures of over 900 Nobel Laureates through a number of fascinating short films and get inspired. Discover the incredible achievements over the last century. Walk through the timeline of development and triumphs since 1901. The museum also organises theatre plays and debates related to science; besides the regular book and souvenir shops. The museum was opened in 2001, apparently the 100th anniversary of the Nobel Prize. The gallery is the most interesting part of the museum where various objects have been displayed, donated by the Nobel Laureates, accompanied with their personal life stories. For informal and unplanned meetings, look for Bistro Nobel, inspired by the café culture of Vienna, Berlin and Paris.
