Often termed as the five star beach of Phuket, Surin Beach has, over the years, attracted tourists from far and near. The waters are perfect for swimming and snorkelling during the months of November and April. During monsoon, it becomes ideal for surfing but is not preferred for swimming. There once was a golf course nearby, which has now been converted into a public park, keeping accommodation facilities far from the beach. Stroll across the white sandy beach dominated by tall casuarinas trees, and a few Thai restaurants here and there. To explore the nearby areas, you can rent motorbikes available at surprisingly low rates.
