40 minutes south of Queensland―New South Wales border―The Pass has a very strong sweep when it’s over 2 ft but is good for surfers of all standards. The Pass has a right hand wave, sand bottom and the water temperature is a minimum of 18 degrees. The best time to surf The Pass is from November to April when you'll get potentially long rides and waves of 4-6 ft.
