In another bid to promote tourism, IRCTC has announced a tour package named Royal Rajasthan. An affordable, all-inclusive tour package to the state of Rajasthan, the said package will cover Goa, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Jaipur, Ajmer, Udaipur. There are a number of boarding points for the Royal Rajasthan tour package, mainly Madurai, Trivandrum, Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Thrissur, Shornur Junction, Kozhikode, Kannur, Kasargod and Mangalore. The Royal Rajasthan tour package will start on March 31, 2019, and will thence run on a number of dates, ending on April 10, 2019. The tour package costs a meagre INR 9450 and is inclusive of GST as well. The said cost will include the train fare (SL class), night stays (sharing basis), non-AC transfers, meals (three in a day), tour escorts and security on board.
Travellers can also cancel their trip in case of a contingency, with refund amount differing with the difference between the time of trip and the cancellation date. 100% of the amount will stand forfeited if the cancellation is made in less than 4 days from the intended trip date.
