All the way back in the 60s, Subhash Emporium was the only place where one could buy products made of Agra marble, and the venerable shop is responsible for the revival of stone handicrafts. Although several stores offer similar carved products today, this is still the preferred place to go, especially for the pieces stocked in the emporium’s private gallery. Despite the relatively high prices, the high quality of marble and workmanship makes it worth the splurge.
