St. George’s Food and Garden Market, one of the UK’s first food markets, with its 250 stalls selling everything—from fresh fish to red apples to coffee beans and an array of organic products—is always abuzz with energy. Don’t get so lost in admiration of the Victorian Red Brick and Glass structure under which you stand, that you forget to interact with the locals (both customers and sellers), for whom Belfast is home. In addition to the delectable foods, you’ll find an abundance of handmade crafts, pottery, glass and metal work, antiques and household goods.
