It used to be a strip mall, devoid of anything useful or intriguing. Luckily that is in the past, and today it stands as one of the most desirable areas in the city, both to live and play, and of course to shop. The area’s shops tend to be geared towards women, with a slew of art galleries and women’s fashion boutiques. Head over to Vespucci if you are a thrift shopper, looking for designer clothes. This huge clothing boutique offers everything, from local produce, to brand names, and can take a good couple of hours to sift through. Specialty kitchen items are always available at Call the Kettle Black, where foodies can have a treat; you could also head to the candy store for a sweet treat. There also happens to be a ton of restaurants in this area and it’s not hard to find someplace to stop for a bite to eat. Try places like Canteen, RGE RD and Remedy Café, and Credo. Find unique shops here, such as Cloud Nine Pajamas where they literally only sell pajamas, or Miss Boss, a handbag, accessory and women’s fashion boutique run by Sabrina who handpicks everything for sale.
