Real-time escape games are the new fad worldwide and Dextrophobia offers something similar to tourists visiting Sofia. However, it is special because it ranks as highly as the iconic Alexander Nevsky Cathedral on a list of things to do in Sofia, which is no mean feat for an attraction that has just opened its doors to visitors in the recent past. Alexander Grozdanov and six of his friends founded Dextrophobia Rooms in 2014. It is truly an offbeat attraction like no other.
A boarded gateway marks the entrance to this immersive experience. A series of engaging puzzles follow. The experience will last for an hour, but it never feels rushed. It aims to combine realism, teamwork and intellectual ability to provide an immensely satisfying experience. A game master provides hints to participants to aid them in their quest.

Dextrophobia Rooms is perfect to spend some quality time with friends. Just make sure you book ahead as tickets are often sold out months in advance.
