Gourmet delights

An airport is more or less buzzing almost all the time with travellers landing and taking off or waiting to board their next flight. This means the food is also available round the clock. At Changi, the problem is not the availability of food but the task of choosing from endless options available. There are 40 or so outlets that remain open round the clock and hundreds during the extended day. If you are in mood for some predictable food, head to McDonald’s, Subway, Starbucks or Costa Coffee.
There are times while travelling when you just need the taste you know. If you are a vegetarian like me then head straight to Kaveri Vegetarian Cuisine for some sumptuous South Indian food. This is my favourite go-to place at Changi that guarantees quality and familiar taste both. However, once in a while, I have also tried some curry joints that give you ample choices of curry with boiled rice. If you are a tea lover, then do visit TWG Tea Boutique at any of the three terminals, and if you can’t resist chocolates then do not miss So Chocolate at T2 and Cocoa & Co at T1 and T3. Twelve Cupcakes is a good option for those who enjoy their cake in a cup shape while Carlsberg Sports Bar at T3 is perfect for sports buff.
