There won’t be a dry moment at the Serendipity Arts Festival of Goa to be held along the beautiful banks of River Mandovi. No, not this year at least. The magical Goan fest is about to go on floors very soon in Panaji, and we are here to give you a teaser on what to expect from it.
Of breathtaking dances and theatrical ecstasies
Entertain yourself by being an audience to Bandish, a play revolving a nautanki singer and a baithak performer. Singer Shubha Mudgal will render her voice to the background score, and the play will be directed by Purva Naresh. On the other hand, Daksha Sheth Dance Company will present the views of a weaver on the popular Indian garment sari in their modern dance production titled ‘Sari: The Unstitched.’
There is a plethora of activities and shows that a cinema and art lover can look forward to. American contemporary dance expert Mark Morris will present Master Ji, a series of pictures of Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan, in dance sequence. There will be many more interesting shows for the discerning cinema and photography lovers.

Designer Wendell Rodricks will put up on display his exquisite masterpieces inspired by Goa’s traditional Goan pano bhaju garment. And then, there will be an exhibition of jaali motif on Indian wear, stonework, marble inlay, pashmina, bidri craft, leather, and teak objects.
