If you’ve already sailed to Elaphiti Islands, your best bet would be to rent a kayak from Old Harbour and paddle toward Lokrum Island that lies some 600 m from the Old Harbour. Spend some time exploring this little gem of an island and carry on paddling around the island and on to one of the secret beaches of Dubrovnik—Betina beach. One can only get to this beach and cave by sea, which often means that there won’t be other tourists around. The view of the city walls from here is exceptional and this tiny little beach is a perfect place to while away an afternoon. As the sun begins to set, paddle into the old town while enjoying the dramatic views of the fort and walls at sunset. You have to be an experienced kayaker to rent and prices start from USD 40 for a half-day rental. If you are unable to rent, you can always book a kayak tour that does the same itinerary.
