This small garden was originally laid out in the early 18th century by Sangram Singh II for 48 women attendants who accompanied a princess after her marriage. There is a beautiful lotus pool here, surrounded by numerous fountains, kiosks and marble elephants. Children can have fun at the tiny science centre here.

Udaipur! It is beautiful. There are many more places in the city as well as some distance away. Jaisamand lake and Ranakpur Jain Temple are a must visit. Then there is Moti Magri on a small hill overlooking lake Fateh Sagar. And, don't miss the island garden - in Fateh Sagar. I can spend a whole day there- especially with kids.
