Rumpueng collaborates with non-profit arts organisation Surface Arts—located at HOF Space in Bangkok—to run arts residencies in both cities. This acts as a link for artists between Bangkok and Chiang Mai, a channel that will only become more important in future. A melting pot of artists that come together to collaborate, Rumpueng’s doors are always open to creative play. They also have Edelweiss Cafe, serving great coffee to keep your juices flowing. Though the space is a little hard to find if you’re not familiar with the area, it’s well worth the effort. Rumpueng’s beautiful natural surroundings and open-air building are a draw in and of themselves.
