So going out alone is not just allowed, but is also risky. The benefit of lugging with a guide is that they will spot fun parts of the river for you, the most interesting being what is locally called the 'washing machine.' Basically, a spot in the river, where they will drop you in, and you will keep going in circles forever. You will neither go ahead, backwards, nor drown as the water creates a unique circular movement there because of the rocks.
