For a star-struck audience, going behind the scenes can be one of the most thrilling experiences, and a visit to Ramoji Film City exceeds all expectations. Located about half an hour from the city centre, it transports you to a different space—brimming with anecdotes about film stars, live stunts and ongoing shoots—opening a window into the world of films. You’ll recognize countless popular locations used in both Bollywood and Tollywood films, from artificially constructed Mughal palaces and sprawling lawns, to Japanese gardens. Ramoji Film City is a favourite with movie makers, and includes a kaleidoscope of attractions within its expansive confines. So if you’re a film buff you should definitely plan a visit. Take the kids along as a special treat, and don't forget to buy a souvenir from the gift shop on your way out.
