Germany’s approach towards bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies has always been soft. In fact, not too long ago, Germany’s Federal Ministry of Finance announced that there should not be a tax imposed on bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency when it is used as a mode of payment. The approach towards cryptocurrencies has been similar in some other European nations as well.
