Reina Sofia’s modern architecture and design is the home to Picasso’s Guernica. Perhaps this can be called Spain’s most famous artwork, which depicts the terror of Spain’s Civil War. The monochrome masterpiece takes up the length of an entire wall. The painting is always to be found in Room 206.Surrealist names also include Salvador Dali. Approximately 20 artworks of Dali can be found here and among them, perhaps the most famous is the El Gran Masturbador. The other popular artist here, found in this genre is, Max Ernst.
