The Thai Hua Museum features more than a dozen exhibition rooms focusing on the history of the island of Phuket, along with a few short films. The museum tells the story of the Chinese influence on the culture and development of the island. The museum is in a historic mansion with a really interesting courtyard/garden area. It’s a pretty small museum, and it’s not going to win any international awards, but it’s a great way to learn about the history of this beautiful island—something you won’t find elsewhere.
