Opened to public in 1991, the 20-acre park is home to more than 3000 birds representing over 200 species. The birds fly freely inside the park in their respective zones. Opened to public in 1991, the 20-acre park is home to more than 3000 birds representing over 200 species. The birds fly freely inside the park in their respective zones. Visit to the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park takes you into the world of vibrant chirpy land. The Brahminy Land contains a stunning collection of brahminy kites, whereas the World of Parrots is filled with variety of macaws, cockatoos, lories and parakeets. You can spot beautiful flamingos frolicking in the water in the Flamingo Pond. Malaysia’s indigenous rhinoceros hornbills can be spotted in the Hornbill Area. The visit to the bird park is a visual delight for the young and the old. Walk around the park on tiled pathways and enjoy the serenity laced with colourful charming birds. Spend a day at the Bird Park and take pictures with Rainbow lorikeets and macaws perching all over your shoulders and arms. It is going to be fun for all!
