Para-gliding, heli-tours, and more at the Kakinada Beach Festival this December

The Kakinada Beach Festival that took off with loads of expectations has done something incredible. The festival has now allowed heli-tours so as to give tourists aerial view of Kakinada city as well as the beautiful sea shore. The chopper tour for this festival was launched by Kartikeya Misra, District Collector. Held from December 19 to 21 at the NTR beach, this beach festival is definitely one of the most happening tourist festivals of South India.
The NTR festival or Kakinada Beach Festival is a golden opportunity for tourists to enjoy water sports, and bask under the winter sun. It also allows tourists to visit all the popular Kakinada tourist places. Andhra Pradesh Tourism has left no stones unturned to prepare for this festival, and alongside water sports and other attractions, Kakinada Beach Festival is now also offering a chance for you to take the heli-tour.
It is being expected that N. Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister, Andhra Pradesh, will be inaugurating the event. Also, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Finance Minster, Andhra Pradesh, and Nimmakayala Chinarajappa, Deputy Chief Minister, Andhra Pradesh, will be inaugurating the R&B guest house.

The event will witness quite a few interesting contests, such as Dog Show on December 20, and Photography Contest on 16th and 17th December. Playback singer S.P. Balasubramanyam is scheduled to perform on 19th December.
Some of the adventure sports that you can take part in here at the Kakinada Beach Festival are volleyball, para gliding, cycle marathon, and kabaddi. Also, there would be a few rock bands performing to keep the youth thrilled and excited.
