Cannes is all about film festivals, stars and glamour. I saw a T-shirt which said “I was born to Walk on Cannes Red Carpet”. So off I went to join the millions of tourists who take a selfie and pose for pictures on the 22 steps of the building which hosts one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world. You see more than 40 celebrities on the footpath, including my favourite Meryl Streep with their handprints on the pavement. It may sound like the most clichéd thing to do, but you do not go to Cannes and miss the starry world.
