Built by the daughter of the founder of one of Thailand’s most famous food and beverage brands, Oishi, Think Park is a stylish haven for unique restaurants, cafes, bars and boutiques. The open air lifestyle shopping center is prominently situated at the north end of Nimmanhaemin Road and is directly across the street from Maya Lifestyle Shopping Center. With a small selection of curated stores, along with a weekend market that runs along the side of the complex, if you’re looking for creative crafts, unique gifts and boutique clothing, this is your spot. Meant to support local craftspeople and encourage the arts in the area, the shops are certainly cute, however, Think Park is probably better known for its array of dining and drinking options. From simple bar shacks serving only the Thai basics of whiskey and domestic beers out on the sidewalk to fanciful restaurants that catch your eye with their exceptional décor – you can’t help but notice the two-story cat statue outside Local Cafe, the brainchild of one of the country’s leading comics – there’s something to fit everyone’s taste and the center comes alive at night with young Thais, students, expats and travelers enjoying the atmosphere.
