Now, this is the time to take you on a fun ride to the most amusing shop in Bergen—Elg. Elg is a Norwegian word that translates to moose in English. Hence, Elg stores also go by the name ‘Moose Shop’ in Norway. Moose is the big deer, referred to as the king of the forest in Norway. Hence, it is often said here that an emperor deserves his own shop. The store is stocked up with very cool and unique moose-themed products such as caps, hoodies, t-shirts, plush, socks, key chains, etc. There are also moose toys made from fur and leather, which are pretty adorable. I got to know about this shop from a fellow Voyager when I was in Bergen. Initially, I thought that it might be mainly for kids, but I was surprised to see the adults too going crazy and buying the stuff from the shop. It’s a tiny shop with an area of 14 sq m in Bryggen.
