The city’s most iconic art form may not be what you think, but it is in fact the neon sign and a whole museum dedicated to preserve it. The museum was founded in 1996 and its mission was to preserve the neon signs from around the city and display them for people to see. There are actually three different parts of this museum — the outdoor space known as the Neon Boneyard, an indoor visitors’ centre and a north gallery, which is available for wedding photo shoots, educational tours and more. You will have to book a guided tour in order to know about this museum, which will be an hour long tour and is available every day. However, calling ahead or booking online is requested before showing up. The tour is amazing as the staff members tell stories behind each sign — who created it, what inspired it and even where it was made. The signs range all the way back to the 1930s and expect to see signs from The Golden Nugget, Caesars Palace and Binion’s Horseshoe.
