A local venue with big aspirations

TAB is the kind of venue that is all too familiar in London or New York but one of those rare gems in Singapore. As the first live music venue of its kind in the city, there's substantial pressure on the venue to deliver on its claim of being a cross between the Bowery Ballroom and Ronnie Scott's but so far, so good.
On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights, TAB plays host to both local talent and established international artists in their ticketed Soundcheck sessions. From 10.30pm to 5-6am every night, the club morphs into Neverland Exclusive, where you can catch free performances by singers, dancers and bands from across Asia. They also do food, a good range of drinks and the signature cocktails are rocking indeed.
