Established in the year 2000, the National Museum of Contemporary Art happens to be one of the most respected centres of art in Athens. Travellers from all parts of the world come here to take a look at the huge range of collection that includes some of the finest artworks from Greece and other parts of the world by some of the most renowned international artists. In 2015, the museum opened the doors of elaborately renovated quarters at the former Fix Brewery on Leoforos Syngrou. The place houses amazing rotating exhibitions showcasing both Greek and international contemporary art in the form of paintings, installations, photography, video and new media, as well as experimental architecture.
