A walk through the life of Evita
Word to the wise: Have a bite to eat afterwards on the terrace of the museum's very good restaurant.
The tone moves towards the macabre with a video about the disappearance of Eva's embalmed corpse, stolen by political opponents and hidden for 17 years, before finally being laid to rest in Recoleta Cemetery.
Forty-five minute guided tours are available but must be booked in advance. The staff here are very knowledgeable for those who just want to turn up, but have questions to ask.
