Pune is all geared up to celebrate the fourth edition of Northeast Film Festival 2019 from February 1 to February 3. All movie buffs can grace this event and make full use of their time by watching some of the most critically acclaimed films from Northeast India. Read less
As per the reports, many prominent film personalities from the Northeast region will be attending this fest. Assamese Film by Rima Das, i.e., Village Rockstars, which grabbed eyeballs for being India’s Oscar submission, will be screened during the closing ceremony of the film festival.
Not just these films, the fest will also be a go-to place during these three days for northeastern cuisines. A lot of food stalls will be set up there to serve the guests with special delicacies from Northeast India. Further, the fest will also work as an arena for initiatives related to promotion of tourism and on efforts to attract more and more visitors in the Northeast region.
