Mumbai to Goa cruise set to sail from today

The much awaited Mumbai-Goa cruise will start sailing from today, which comes as a good news for the tourism sector. As per the news reports, tickets for the cruise will be made available for sale under six categories.
Official reports also said that the minimum price of those cruise tickets will be INR 7500, inclusive of breakfast and refreshment. Referring to the timings, reports state that the cruise will set sail every day at 5 PM from Mumbai, and will reach Goa next day at 9 AM. Initial news reports also suggest that the authorities have planned cruise halts at coastal regions, such as Malvan, Vijaydurg, Ratnagiri and Raigad.
With an aim to boost tourism, Shipping Minister Nitin Gadkari earlier said that the first cruise between Mumbai and Goa, with a capacity of 500 people would start from August 1. He also informed that the Shipping Ministry has asked all the ports to set up cruise terminal. The cruise will come equipped with eight restaurants; apart from that, a 24-hour coffee shop will also be there on the deck to offer. Beautiful portraits and artwork further enhances the interiors of the cruise. A lounge and a swimming pool are among other services that the passengers will be able to enjoy in the cruise.
