Looking for something both interactive and educational that is sure to keep the children entertained for a least a few hours? Head to the Discovery Children’s Museum that offers over nine themed exhibition halls designed to keep the little ones busy and happy. The museum is spread over three floors and focuses on science, art and culture. Quite possibly the favourite part of the museum is The Summit, a 70 level and 13-foot tower that is designed for sliding, climbing and exploring. Toddler Town is where kids under 5 will want to head to and play with such things as bean bags, animals noises and dress up. For older kids that want to dress up, make sure to take them to Fantasy Festival where they can become an astronaut, cowboy or anything else they fancy. The museum is open for visitors Monday thru Saturdays from 10am until 5pm and from 12pm until 5pm on Sundays. Admission is $14 with children under one getting in for free. We do suggest going mid week to avoid the large crowds on weekends and devoting at least a few hours to discover the entire place.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
