A spokesperson representing Bengaluru International Airport (BIAL) said in a statement, "At BIAL, we are working towards achieving this growth vision through a multipronged approach. Introduction of digitally advanced, innovative services and products at the BLR Airport ensures that airline partners have the advantage of future forward technologies, creating a seamless operating environment."

The spokesperson also said that as long as the second terminal is not operational, BIAL will introduce digital initiatives that will improve travel experience for passengers. All of these digital innovations will allow passengers to move with ease at the terminal and, hence, cope with the growing footfall in the airport.
Also, export of fruits and flowers are seeing an impressive growth, as the airport registered a growth of 20 percent in the last two years.
The airport is known for exporting fresh pomegranates every day, as Karnataka is one of the major producers of the fruit, after Maharashtra.
