Mount Faber is 105m tall hill in the south-western part of Singapore is covered with secondary rainforest and is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. Just 10mins away from the downtown area, the hill is most well known for being the highest of the 3 cable car stations, including that of Harbourfront and Sentosa Island. It offers various lookout points along its slopes that give you a stunning view of the downtown area and the southern harbour of Singapore, and is also known as a popular dating spot for canoodling couples. These days you can still get a romantic experience at the developed FnB concept area called Faber Peak Singapore, which has several restaurants and outlets that offer you a great view while you dine. Mount Faber Park is one of the oldest parks in Singapore - look out for a mural wall with scenes from Singapore’s history at Upper Faber Point, which is the highest point in the park.
