Located in the Pudong district of Shanghai, the Shanghai World Financial Center is the 5th tallest building in the world. At 492 m, it competes with the Oriental Pearl TV Tower for greatest views of Shanghai downtown. The tower houses hotels, offices, restaurants, conference halls and a shopping mall. The trapezoid aperture at the peak, designed to reduce the stress of wind pressure, gives a distinctive look to the tower, which also earned it a nickname, i.e., ‘the bottle opener’. You can find souvenirs in the shape of a bottle opener featuring the tower at the gift shop inside the tower. The Sky Walk located on the 100th floor is the world's highest observatory at the height of 474 m. No trip to Shanghai is complete without taking an elevator up to The Sky Walk to admire the view from the top. Take out time to witness the sunset or sunrise from this highest observation deck in the world. The stunning panorama of glittering Shanghai at twilight is certain to take your breath away!
