Jalan Malioboro is part of the South-North axis that ideally connect Parangritris beach with Mount Merapi, and its prolongation connects the main train station with the Alun Alun and the Kraton Complex. The easiest way to explore Jalan Malioboro is on foot; the more romantic ones might want to try one of the many four-wheeled horse-drawn carts waiting for customers along the road.
