Occupying a vast, former art gallery space, Unity is a vehicle for the KL domination of Hong Kong menswear label Subcrew. The store stocks every single item from the label's collection plus a crossover collaboration, Subcrewmade, designed with Singaporean artist Jahan Loh.
Conceived by Hong Kong actor-DJ Sam Lee and his mates Frankie and Kobe, Subcrew is a streetwear brand with a non-conformist slant—there's some colourful language used on their caps, and you'll be lucky to find anything like their geometric patchwork tees, hammer-style track pants and utilitarian bags on the high street.
