The textile souk, situated at the old trading centre in the city, offers a wide variety of material, including silk, brocade, raw silk and cotton; name it and you get it here. Moreover, you’ll also find a huge range of embroidered and sequinned, glittering and beautifully weaved stone fabric too. Weave through this market and feel some fine and irresistible fabric brushing through your skin. You won’t be able to walk through without giving a second glace to the custom-made threads which are simply amazing and surprisingly reasonable. Remember that the rates are flexible so you can shamelessly bargain. A few things to keep in mind: Take a traditional water taxi to cross the Dubai Creek. It is cheaper and experiential. It is advisable to visit as early as possible in the morning or in the evening.
